It is with temporary sadness and eternal joy we pass along the homegoing of our dear friend and brother, Jack Hyland. Jack served the Lord faithfully for many years doing pulpit supply for Inter-Church and then as pastor at New Beginnings Bible Church in Dexter, Maine. Jack had a passion for ministry that went far beyond the limitations - and there were many - that he carried in his earthly body, and we celebrate that he is now truly free and at peace in the arms of Jesus. The celebration of his life will be Saturday, December 10 at 10am at Calvary Baptist Church in Brewer. Many of you may have had the pleasure of hearing Jack as he filled your pulpit at some point in the past and know that he was truly a man sold out to Christ. Please pray for his wife Lee and family and for the church. Lee will be selling their home and moving as soon as the home is sold, so please pray for a quick sale as well. What a blessing to know that as we say goodbye here on this earth, we can confidently look forward to saying hello again one day!
